The censer is the metalic container where the incense is burned, which the priest censes it to the congregation. The censer symbolizes the human nature of Jesus Christ and is hunged by four chains each of which has occasionally three bells (out of 12). The four chains, symbolizing the four Evangelists and the four Gospels and the twelve bells hanging from chains symbolize the 12 Apostles.
The Hand Censers (Katzion) is shaped special, a small censer that is used in sequences of Bridegroom, while reading the Great and Royal Hours on Christmas Eve, Epiphany and Good Friday.
